Gold Coast Fashion Week first launching in 2007 has established itself as a young and directional extension to more traditional fashion weeks. There are numerous parties and happenings, performance events and exhibitions going on throughout the week, making Gold Coast Fashion Week, Australia's #1 summerwear fashion event and the Gold Coast an important fashion destination within Australia. After the success of the Face of Gold Coast Fashion Week 2007 winner Maddison Gabriel being signed internationally, the Face of Gold Coast Fashion Week 2010 is on again. All aspiring models are invited. Twelve finalists will be chosen and will go through catwalk training and have the opportunity to walk on the Gold Coast Fashion Week catwalks with the professionals. Of the twelve finalists one winner will be chosen as the Face of Gold Coast Fashion Week and will receive a host of prizes.

There will also be prizes and giveaways on the day, so put it in your diary if want to be a model or would like to come and see the action.
